 The Spirit We Must Recapture

After WWII, Arthur Calwell, Australia’s first Minister for Immigration, said it simply:

“Populate or Perish.”

This wasn’t marketing. This was a national survival strategy.

Australia needed workers. It needed builders. It needed people prepared to lay bricks, forge steel, lay railways, and grow a nation.
